Front Basket; Genuine Buddy - Wicker

I wanted a cool front rack but really didn't want to attach a milk crate to it to carry things. I attached this basket to my Buddy Kick - which is not listed as an option, but i removed the legshield/front and noticed there is a few screw holes right where the basket would go. So i measured and drilled some holes in the front and voila' I was able to install it. I took off 1 star because Genuine could/should add templates/parts to add this to a Buddy Kick - spacers and longer screws. The basket itself is really solid and has metal framing around the edges and down the sides. It's really great to have a place to put my jacket, scarf and gloves when I stop and prepare for the lock down routine. I live in a crime-ridden hellscape on the West Coast, so we have to lock everything up. It even holds the helmet on the lip (temporarily) without making the basket droop. Matt at PP did warn me that it was not listed as compatible - so that was nice. I was buying other Kick gear, so that's how they knew. It's really handy to have a place to hold stuff without unlocking the seat or topcase.
