Basically this thing either buzzes or turns on a light at the exact moment your points open. Extremely useful for precisely timing original points ignitions on Lambrettas and Vespas but worthless on anything with an electronic ignition. Just hook up the red lead to the wire that goes to the coil and the black to ground and you are timing your vintage scooter like a pro.
