In 1966 we started a Comic Book called Swing with Scooter to capitalize on the popularity of scooters and the mod scene at the time. Being Americans writing our interpretations of British mod and scooter culture, it made for a pretty inauthentic endeavor but teenagers scooped it up anyway and lapped up our prose as if it was written by Townshend himself.

We soldiered on feigning British mod and scooter culture in graphic novels for other sheltered Americans for 6 fine years.  If you ever have a chance to pick up a copy, we definitely do not recommend it.
